Aims and Scope

The Journal of Disease Mechanisms and Genomics (JDMG) aims to provide a rigorous scientific platform for publishing innovative research exploring the mechanistic and genomic foundations of human diseases. The journal seeks to advance biomedical knowledge by integrating molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, systems biology, and translational medicine to improve the understanding of disease initiation, progression, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention.

JDMG publishes studies spanning a broad spectrum of biomedical and clinical disciplines, with particular interest in mechanistic investigations employing advanced genomic and multi-omics methodologies. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that elucidates cellular signalling networks, gene regulation, molecular interactions, immune dysregulation, metabolic perturbations, and host–environment interactions associated with human pathology.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

Molecular and cellular mechanisms of disease
Human genetics and genomics
Epigenetics and chromatin biology
Transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and multi-omics integration
Precision medicine and translational research
Cancer biology and molecular oncology
Inflammatory and immune-mediated disorders
Metabolic diseases, obesity, and diabetes
Neurodegenerative and neurological diseases
Cardiovascular and vascular pathobiology
Infectious diseases and host–pathogen interactions
Reproductive biology and women’s health disorders
Computational biology and bioinformatics
Biomarker discovery and therapeutic targets
Molecular pharmacology and therapeutic development
Systems biology and network medicine
Artificial intelligence and data-driven biomedical analytics

JDMG welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, narrative reviews, mini-reviews, methodological papers, case-based molecular investigations, and scholarly perspectives that advance modern biomedical science and disease-oriented genomic research.
